My name is Marte Teigen. I live in the middle of Norway outside Trondheim city and originally I have an education in graphic design. I have studied marketing and economics at BI Norwegian School of management in addition to some more years at the university ;-)

    Horses, and partly dogs, are what I have spent most time on trough life. My father bought me my first horse when I was 11 years. My first Centered Riding Clinic was with Lotta Månsson in 2003 and in 2004 I took Centered Riding Instructor Level 1. In 2006 I upgraded to Level 2. You can read more about CR here.  

   Nowadays I give clinics all over Norway and some in Denmark and I have several riding lessons and seminars here in Trondheim region. I can help some riders by watching them ride on a movie clip that they send me and return comments or a training program. Classes come and visit my place to see and learn about Natural Horse Care and I sell some theory material to schools, organizations and clubs.

    I live together with my fiancé and our to boys. We have to dogs. Pippin and Micke, and the horses are in their paddock paradise 24/7. Pictures here.

Amandus, born in 1995, have been my companion since 1998. He is, almost all alone, the reason why I do what I do. He was not easy to handle and I had to rethink, more than once not only when it came to handling and psychology but also, hooves, feeding, training alternatives, movement, anatomy. I play, practice and learn all the time I spend with horses.

   I try to participate in interesting courses, discussions and forums and try to be as updated as I can. I try to meet Lotta Månsson and other colleges as often as I can but there are many interesting clinics out there ;-)
